Addiction and Suicide Prevention
Each year, the Wisconsin Poison Center receives numerous calls relating to drug overdose and suspected suicide. Given this, the Wisconsin Poison Center has made efforts to collaborate with statewide and regional coalitions focused on preventing injury and harm for those struggling with addiction and mental health crises.
By partnering on addiction and suicide prevention, the Wisconsin Poison Center can help identify trends, improve early invention strategies, help shape prevention measures, and raise awareness of important topics to help safeguard the community.
